Feature after feature no other aluminium finish can match:

Twice as hard as stainless steel
Tests* have shown that Universal anodising is up to twice as hard as stainless steel – delivering superior resistance to abrasion and wear.

Cannot ever crack or peel
Anodising is an electrochemical process converting the outer face of aluminium into aluminium oxide which (being integral) cannot crack or peel.

Virtually unaffected by UV exposure

Accelerated tests* have shown Universal anodising can remain virtually unchanged after the equivalent of 50 years exposure to Sydney UV.

Highly resistant to coastal corrosion
Tests* show that Universal 25-micron anodising provides highly effective protection against salt-spray corrosion in coastal projects.

Retains its looks 30 years and more
Anodised aluminium curtain walls and exterior design features remain \serviceable in many landmark buildings built 30 years ago or more.

Most economical alternative in the long run
Periodic grime removal usually is the only maintenance required – no painting or refinishing need be planned for the full life of the building.

Readily available via aluminium fabricators
Universal applies Universal Hardcoat to aluminium sheets and extrusions supplied by the leading aluminium mills and distributors.

Few dimensional limitations
Universal can anodise items up 10 metres long and 1.6 metres deep. Items over 10 metres long, such as flagpoles, are anodised in sections.
